Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years experience managing teams is a requirement
Ability to operate as an Independent Manager and Trusted Leader
Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple trading desks with little supervision
Take full accountability for team outcomes
Clear and Purposeful Communication Skills that will elevate core concerns, create alignment, and drive results
Proven experience collaborating with Quants, Data Scientists, Applied Scientists, and Developers to collaborate on strategy and project execution
Capability to translate high-level firm OKRs into a clear, compelling, and actionable direction for teams
A genuine desire and empathy for mentoring and accelerating the growth of team members
Aptitude for both recognizing success and decisively correcting underperformance
Ability to prioritize and to focus on solving business problems while actively identifying opportunities to build and scale the trading desk
Proven resolve and fairness in utilizing performance management tools to maintain high performance standards
Preferred
Experience at a market making firm is highly desired. (Experience in options market making is not required)
