Responsibilities

Meet with and counsel child and youth clients to determine and implement effective legal advocacy strategies

Maintain a frequent presence in court for dependency proceedings, including status hearings, motion hearings, and trials

Participate in mediations, negotiations, and treatment team staffings to ensure the child's best interests are represented

Advocate for child victims of crime, including victims of human trafficking, and assist youth navigating the juvenile delinquency system

Conduct in-depth legal research and draft critical pleadings to support your cases
