Responsibilities
Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for the client
Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand and technology evolution
Deliver advisory services to Senior Management and above in support of technology-enabled business changes
Manage and Deliver technology projects including application development, integration, data migration, testing, etc. for IT organizations
Meet with client staff on a daily basis to understand key issues with how they operate today and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and technology landscape
Leveraging Excelacom’s domestic and international assets and expertise to bring new ideas to clients
Supporting the development of improved capabilities in clients across business processes, people and technology
Developing business cases and implementation roadmaps to support investment decisions
Providing project management and change management support on large- or small-scale transformation projects
Identify and qualify additional business opportunities
Prepare solutions and proposals and present to clients
Define architecture and solution designs for business needs within the context of existing OSS/ BSS suite mostly but would need to identify approaches to gaps in existing OSS/ BSS applications
Conduct Impact analysis and feasibility study for various solution approaches and deliver recommendations to the Enterprise Architect and IT development teams
Recommend technology stack or review vendor solutions to ensure the fitment of solutions to business requirements
Elaboration and documentation of features and functional user stories according to schedule
Provide guidance to the development partner and conduct architectural conformance for delivered applications or software
Liaise with Product Management, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to help formulate a solution
Analyze business, functional, technical, and user interface requirements of the product release cycle and lead the design and development of OSS/BSS architecture
Collaborate with sales teams, product managers, and IT Architects to deliver high-level IT Architecture and roadmap for solutions and development projects
Conduct gap analysis between the target and current status in terms of product capabilities; business process measures and recommend innovative and effective ways of delivering or achieving the same
Participate in the IT Architecture team sessions for building and maintaining the architectural application runway
Understand and communicate overall IT architecture vision and other key business drivers for an application architecture to System Architects, developers and non-technical stakeholders
Identify and implement common application modeling, design, and coding practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
Prior consulting experience –in an agile environment – with a leading strategy firm, consulting practice, or consulting technology firm
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Highly collaborative, team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead project working groups and possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical personnel
5+ years of design and development in the OSS/BSS space around CPQ, Order Management, and provisioning for Enterprise portfolio
Mobile experience
Experience creating and documenting user stories
Highly skillful in OSS system architecture, designs, specifications, system testing and system users training and adoption in carrier Ethernet service provisioning, design, and configuration
Deep knowledge and experienced in networks, devices, services modeling and automation with middleware knowledge in OSS systems
Full Lifecycle Telecom/Mobile/Cable Billing System experience and experience with associated integrations to legacy Billing systems
Experience with full software-development lifecycle - understanding and appreciation of the inception, design, construction, deployment and management aspects of a solution
Should have experience in translating high-level business ask into solution architectures through required visual and documentation techniques
Preferred
