Responsibilities

Monitoring electrical rooms via cameras and a variety of electrical distribution equipment such as Variable Frequency Drives, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Diesel Generators, Breakers, High, Medium, and Low Voltage Buses, Relays, and other electrical equipment

Operating remote breakers and/or coordinate switching operations as necessary to provide reliable power to site stakeholders

Coordinating with other departments to troubleshoot issues, turn on/off loads, and communicate as necessary

Participating in Leading Safety Metric activities to improve onsite safety and quality

Taking part in shift turnover briefs, which should include, but not limited to: actions performed during shift, any abnormal conditions, and outstanding action items

Providing technical assistance to junior team members as needed and coaching less experienced members of the team to improve overall level of knowledge and job satisfaction
