Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and clinical teams

Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to hospital operations, financial performance, and patient outcomes

Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement

Assist in the development of data-driven strategies and provide decision support for projects and initiatives

Build and maintain predictive models to forecast patient volumes, resource utilization, and financial performance

Conduct scenario analyses to assess the impact of various decisions on the hospital's operations and financial stability

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA)

Implement data governance practices and contribute to data quality improvement initiatives

Utilize advanced analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) to extract, transform, and visualize data

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in healthcare analytics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, clinical, and administrative staff, to develop and implement data-driven solutions

Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts as needed

Prepare clear and concise documentation of analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations

Present insights and reports to senior leadership and department heads in a manner that is easy to understand

Required

Bachelor's Degree required

5+ years' Experience in healthcare data analysis and decision support, preferably in a hospital setting
