Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
Document in detail product problems and resolutions
Other duties as assigned

Ability to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems on Mitsubishi Machining products
100% travel availability, primarily throughout the US, with potential international travel
Ability to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
Ability to examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
Ability to troubleshoot via telephone
Professional and effective communication with customers
Ability to interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
Ability to document in detail product problems and resolutions
Working knowledge of how to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
Ability to operate computer using Windows operating systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Extensive travel necessary
Current valid driver's license
2 year Electronic or Technical Degree, or experience equivalent
Skilled in Electrical measurement and inspection techniques (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope and other measurement equipment)
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems
Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (Dial Indicators, Micrometers, and Calipers)
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver's license
Ability to perform frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing, and frequent kneeling
Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching
Frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds, and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds
Constant pushing and pulling of 1-50 pounds and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices
Good visual and color acuity

CNC programming skills a plus
