Responsibilities
Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
Manage IT system infrastructure and associated processes
Perform day-to-day system operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
Assist users in accessing and using IT systems
Support escalation and communicate system status to agency management and internal customers
Support dispatch systems and hardware troubleshooting through resolution
Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems
Install and load operating system software and apply enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Optimize system operations and resource utilization
Perform system capacity analysis and planning
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
OR five (5) additional years of System Administration experience may be substituted for the degree
US citizenship and an active security clearance required
