Responsibilities

Digital, mobile, or cloud forensics
IoT device forensics
Network packet capture and analysis
Apply a full range of professional principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
Support to outward-reaching sponsors
Develop prototypes based on research
Work independently to learn new technologies, languages and platforms

Required

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Forensics related field
Must be US citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a security clearance
Experience with programming in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C
Familiarity with operational digital forensics concepts and objectives
Familiarity with latest trends and non-governmental advances in digital forensics
Strong familiarity with Linux
Strong familiarity with network forensics, pcap analysis
Familiarity with database systems (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, SQLite) of the latest tools and techniques employed by forensic examiners
Familiarity with operational Cyber concepts and objectives
This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site

Preferred

Knowledgeable of operational digital forensic concepts and objectives
Knowledge of latest trends and non-governmental advances in Digital Forensics
Operational experience with network forensics, pcap analysis
Strong familiarity with database systems (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, SQLite) of the latest tools and techniques employed by forensic examiners
Having prior held Top Secret/SCI/Suitability in the past
Strong written and Oral communications skills
