Responsibilities

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configure and manage enterprise-grade operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Rocky Linux, and Windows. Perform OS installation, patching, and tuning; troubleshoot system and network components; and implement enhancements to improve reliability, performance, and scalability across diverse environments
Support the description of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration
Support and maintain HPC tools such as Slurm, PBS, or Grid Engine
Manage distributed file systems like Lustre or GPFS, and troubleshoot I/O performance issues
Monitor and maintain high-speed interconnects such as InfiniBand, Slingshot, or Omni-Path

Required

At least five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required

Preferred

Experience supporting and maintain HPC architectures including Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) and Symmetric Multiprocessing (SMP) systems to enable scalable, high-throughput computing
Experience integrating and managing Special Purpose Devices (SPD) such as FPGAs, ASICs, and GPUs, ensuring seamless hardware/software interaction and optimal performance
Experience collaborating with software integration engineers and technical experts to enhance system-level performance, scalability, and reliability through co-design and cross-functional optimization
