Responsibilities
Prepare and configure high-voltage test setups in accordance with test plans and applicable standards (IEEE / IEC)
Perform AC/DC dielectric, impulse, and related electrical tests on components and assemblies
Monitor test equipment, verify readings, and accurately document results in test logs and reports
Ensure proper use of PPE and strict adherence to all safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S standards
Complete and maintain required test documentation for traceability and audits
Identify and report anomalies or questionable results to the Supervisor
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures
Associate degree from an accredited institution (flexible based on experience)
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a high-voltage environment
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication skills
Preferred
Previous experience in high-voltage testing or electrical laboratory work
Familiarity with IEEE / IEC test standards
Experience working with high-voltage equipment
Associate degree in Electrical Technology or a related field
