Garnishment Assistant
Responsibilities
Review and enter new case information into database
Draft answers for all no asset cases, review answers and auto import them into Netdocs document management system
E-file and mail out answers for no asset cases
Scan and approve cases in Netdocs document management system
Accept incoming phone calls from the client’s customers, outside attorneys, and courts
Assist with various administrative tasks, including adding case information to database
In office presence for team collaboration and for review of documents to be filed with court
In-office presence to open, sort, and distribute department mail
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; relevant experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable
Experience preparing quality written documents using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Experience using Microsoft Outlook
Must be detail oriented, highly organized, able to follow up and follow through on tasks as well as meeting daily deadlines
Demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, and good judgement
Strong customer service skills
Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
Preferred
Minimum of 1-3 years of collections and/or garnishment experience preferred
Law firm/legal experience preferred
Experience importing and organizing case information in a document management system, NetDocs preferred
