They are seeking an Aerial Fiber Optics Technician I to build and maintain fiber optic networks by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing overhead fiber lines.

Responsibilities
Safely perform work in communication spaces
Qualify to work safely in energized spaces
Participate in training for pole climbing
Inspect, mobilize, and operate a bucket truck from the cab
Record and report the sequential foot marks by the operator or groundman
Responsible for framing poles
Pull cable, strand, fiber, and lash, for extended periods of time
Provide framing and attachment hardware for operator, jack down guys, pull lasher
Qualification
Required
No prior experience necessary
Valid Drivers License is required
Must be comfortable working at elevated heights and in confined spaces
Preferred
Experience using the following equipment: ladders, bucket truck, cable puller, and reel stands
Experience operating small equipment preferred (i.e., forklift, bobcat, telehandler, skid steer, etc.)
General construction and/or flagging experience
