Test Technician 1st Shift
TLD is seeking a Test Technician responsible for monitoring test procedures and equipment within production and manufacturing to ensure high quality products. The role involves preparing units for testing, conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities
Review product specs and blueprints for scheduled work assignments
Prepare units for test to include filling fluids, installing test instruments, and pre-setting controls
Check units’ wiring and flows using the proper documentation
Test units using the proper documents and test equipment
Record and calculate data
Perform final run on units as assigned
Prepare unit for shipment, and test related items
Responsible for good housekeeping of individual work area
Responsible for maintaining a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers
Other assignments as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or higher supervisor/s
Qualification
Required
2 years of related experience, and a broad knowledge of the section and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools that will be used in the satisfactory performance of duties
Ability to use, read, and interprets drawings and measuring scale or tape proficiently
The ability to move safely over uneven terrain as well as restricted spaces
The ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs
The ability to kneel, bend, and stand for long periods
The ability to work in and around areas with limited space
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Certified to handle refrigerants per EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F prior to use – type 2 or universal
