Responsibilities

Analyze utilization data within financial reports and project management systems to recommend action to managers, group leads, and/or exec. leadership. Generate insights from Enterprise Resource Planning software data via mastery of report generation. Maintain in-depth understanding of project/resource management software at a system admin level
Advise department heads about load balancing, talent assessment, team structure, and recruitment approach where needed, in partnership with HR and TA
Collaborate with group leaders on change management, new process adoption and training on new technologies/platforms, or upgrades to existing resource management processes/platforms/technologies
Understand broader Precision entities and their offerings in order to partner with Resourcing Managers from other business units to share learnings and best practices
Conduct regular resourcing meetings with group leads, assess inputs against available data, and work with leads to determine best course of action to balance workload. Expedite solutions with teams to identify, hire, and onboard talent when necessary
Determine how new resource management system can automate part of the current manual staffing process including updates and meeting cadence
Facilitate talent sharing across teams, offices, or other Precision entities during times of temporary talent constraints or excess capacity
Un-stick mechanics/processes within teams that affect the level of efficiency. Problem-solve 'pain points' in process by guiding team to resolution. Assess task, roles and responsibilities, and technology solutions. Lead roll-out of revised processes
Conduct quarterly talent need assessment by examining utilization and capacity levels against budgeted revenue
Working with Managing Directors and Finance, facilitate moving work across revenue centers, i.e., specific tasks, projects, workstreams or clients, as warranted. Make recommendations, propose, and execute solution

Required

Bachelor's Degree
4+ years in Resource Management or Project Management with heavy involvement in resourcing in a consulting environment
Has strong reporting skills using Excel and other project management tools
Possesses a working knowledge of engagement-based consulting resource requirements
Possesses an appreciation for the pace and rigor of a consulting environment
May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Collaboratively problem solve and communicate solutions to teams
Analytical thinking and high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple competing efforts, prioritize and communicate tradeoffs to leadership
