Responsibilities

Inspect finished eyewear products in accordance with HOYA standard operating procedures and ANSI optical and cosmetic standards

Verify prescription accuracy and overall product quality prior to shipment

Identify, document, and communicate quality issues to the Supervisor or Manager

Inspect jobs rejected by automated inspection equipment using manual lens meters and inspection tools

Route work to designated departments as required to maintain production flow

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation

Load and monitor final inspection equipment and clear equipment errors as needed

Cross-train within the Quality Control department and other lab areas as required

Assist in other departments or lab operations to support business needs
