Responsibilities

Work on Extreme Networks and possess a combination of experience, skills, and qualifications

Be adept at troubleshooting complex network issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions

Have experience in managing network related projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation, including network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions

Required

10+ years' relevant experience working with network infrastructure, preferably with a focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions

Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security

Certified to work on Extreme Networks products, such as switches, routers, access points and network management tools

Adept at troubleshooting complex network issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions

Experience in managing network related projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation, including network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions

BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience; or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience

Extreme Networks Certification

IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification

CE/OS Certification

CCNA Certification or equivalent

Experience with VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage (V6.2)

Experience with Ruckus Layer 2 Switches / Wireless Controller / Wireless Access Points

Palo Alto Networks Firewall knowledge of PA-7050 / PA-3060 / PA-3260 / PA-5450 / WildFire/URL Filtering

Experience with Brocade MPLS Implementation Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches

Experience with Cisco Networks switches and routers

Excellent knowledge of Aruba Networks Wireless Controllers / Access Points / Airwave / ClearPass

Experience with Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System
