Associate Researcher- Pharmacological Sciences

The role involves performing molecular biology techniques, assisting with animal work, and contributing to research focused on cardiovascular and pulmonary vascular diseases.

Responsibilities
Perform routine and advanced molecular biology techniques, including:
QPCR, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry
Assist with the maintenance of mouse colonies:
Genotyping, breeding, weaning, and colony management
Conduct animal handling and experimental procedures:
Tissue harvesting, drug administration, and phenotyping of mouse models
Process and analyze biological samples (e.g., tissues, blood, cells)
Maintain detailed and organized laboratory records
Collaborate with team members and support the overall goals of the lab
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in science or related field preferred, or combination of relevant research experience and education
0-2 years of research/laboratory experience
Preferred
Bachelor's or master's degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or a related field
At least 1–2 years of hands-on lab experience in molecular biology techniques
Prior experience with mouse models and comfortable handling of laboratory animals
Proficient in: qPCR, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, Basic tissue culture techniques
Familiarity with data analysis tools and statistics (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel, R, or similar)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and documentation skills
