Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and ensure seamless support for legacy systems (BASIS, AMCS, Great Plains, VERTEX, Samsara)
Partner with our MSP to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications
Bridge the gap between management and development teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and reports
Oversee version control, upgrades, and patching in collaboration with IT Infrastructure
Evaluate and manage AMS partnerships to ensure cost efficiency and service quality
Identify and implement process optimizations, focusing on automation and eliminating manual workflows
Serve as the subject matter expert for application systems and guide adoption of emerging technologies
Develop and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business priorities
Lead participation in ERP deployment, administration, integration, and optimization across all company functions
Establish best practices for system security, governance, and compliance
Drive adoption of new systems and standardized processes
Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and business outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing enterprise applications
Strong understanding of business process flows, data flows, and security best practices
Experience managing AMS providers and consulting engagements
Proven success in ERP or large-scale system implementations (Finance, Field Services)
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their practical application
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Strategic thinker and hands-on leader who balances operational stability with long-term transformation
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to document business requirements, process flows, gap analyses, and integration points
Strong project leadership and change management experience
Collaborative leadership style fostering trust and accountability
Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database structures
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integration tools
Preferred
Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, routing, optimization, and rental/lease business models is a plus
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Acumatica, MS Dynamics preferred
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development practices
