This role is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors, while leading efforts to build and sustain meaningful relationships that result in significant philanthropic support.

Overseeing the planning and implementation of his/her major gift initiatives

Managing donor engagement strategies from identification through recognition

Collaborating across departments to align fundraising goals with institutional priorities

Contributing to the development and evaluation of annual and long-term strategic plans

Promoting effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders

Required

Proven track record in securing and stewarding major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations

Experience in designing and executing comprehensive strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors

Ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships that result in significant philanthropic support

Experience overseeing the planning and implementation of major gift initiatives

Experience managing donor engagement strategies from identification through recognition

Ability to collaborate across departments to align fundraising goals with institutional priorities

Experience contributing to the development and evaluation of annual and long-term strategic plans

Strong communication skills for effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders

Outstanding ability to establish relationships with philanthropic and business communities
