Closing Specialist
First Dakota National Bank is seeking a full-time Closing Specialist to join their Yankton team. The role involves preparing loans for closing, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities
Review and understand closing requirements for each loan as provided by secondary market or loan committee
Enter loan information in Database and keep updated to ensure current status of loan closing
Order and review title commitments, flood determinations, UCC Searches
Resolve issues that may arise during review of above items
Work closely with secondary markets during loan review/closing process to ensure closing requirements are met
Work with 3rd party vendors including Title Companies, Attorneys, Closing Agents and other Lenders
Originate loan documents following program requirements
Disperse loan proceeds, run tickets, complete wire requests and verifications
Enter loan information into tracking systems
Prepare and scan loan documents
Order and review final title policy
Complete loan closing package for secondary markets and FSA
Provide backup to other closer(s)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-3 months related experience and/or training
Ability to process a variety of tasks accurately and efficiently
Capability to maintain strict confidentiality
Attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Punctuality is a must
