Responsibilities
Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools
Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
Follow instructions and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, CADD designers, and contractors and construction personnel
Potential for fieldwork such as soil sampling, stormwater inspections, and drilling and contractor monitoring; and
Local travel or driving to project sites as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently registered in a Bachelor's or Master's university degree program in a civil engineering or related discipline
Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills
Valid U.S. driver's license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record for business travel to project sites
Preferred
Degree focus area in civil, geotechnical, or environmental engineering
Experience with Microsoft Office and slope stability software
