Electrical Engineering Robotics Intern

Responsibilities
Support the •FIRST• strategic priority of lowering barriers to entry by contributing to the successful rollout of the new FRC robot controller and programming environment for the 2026–2027 season
Systemcore software projects which could include:
Driver Hub Systemcore Drivers Station (DS)
User Interface (UI) or other development work for Systemcore laptop DS
Systemcore documentation or tutorial work
Development assistance with Blocks environment
Other Systemcore/Motioncore testing and/or development as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program, or a recent graduate, majoring in a Computer Science, Electrical or Robotics Engineering discipline
Experience with research, analysis, and subsequent recommendations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint and Teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with the FIRST Robotics Competition Control System, including wiring and programming
Preferred
Experience in Java programming preferred
FIRST Alumni status a plus
