Research Technician II - Part-time

Required

Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement

Preferred

Experience in molecular genetics, molecular biology, and deep sequencing is preferred
Experience in handling yeast cells, constructing mutant strains, and using CRISPR/Cas9 methods to induce point mutations will be desired
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and experience with sterilization techniques are essential for maintaining a safe working environment
Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to details, as accuracy in preparation is critical for successful lab outcomes and for effective collaboration with research teams
