Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule engaging content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter), with messaging aligned with the organization's internal strategy and style guide
Support the development of social videos, graphics, and written posts that reflect our brand and mission
Attend local events, sometimes at night, in the Tri-State area, and capture behind-the-scenes content for use in Reels, Shorts, and other mediums
Upload IsraelCast episodes, webinars, Shorts, and videos to YouTube
Use streaming software to host live feeds across multiple platforms
Moderate comments and messages across platforms in a timely and positive manner
Capture and post content during the Global Conference for Israel – the largest annual gathering of Zionists in the U.S
Work in close partnership with an in-house Audience Development Analyst to better target and engage our key audiences
Support the PR team in writing informative and engaging press releases about Jewish National Fund-USA events, leadership announcements, and other newsworthy happenings
Interview Subject Matter Experts and assist in writing articles
Pitch journalists and newspaper assignment editors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience
1–4 years of experience managing or creating content for social media accounts (professional or internship experience welcome)
Familiarity with the Meta Business Suite and platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and LinkedIn
Some experience with content creation tools and streaming platforms
A strong writer with a sense of wit and a feel for voice and tone
Passion for Israel, Zionism, and making a difference through digital storytelling
Preferred
Have used tools like Hootsuite, Restream, StreamYard, etc
Are familiar with Jewish National Fund-USA's work and nonprofit communications
