Responsibilities

Maintain network of developers and upstream market participants in the renewable project space

Work closely with Renewable Energy Credit sales and trading team to source and execute REC offtakes, PPAs, and VPPAs

Strong understanding of capital stack for Unites States wind, solar, and battery storage projects

Ability to synthesize complex risks and opportunities into succinct and actionable directions

Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, attention to detail and accountability. Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment

Required

5+ years of experience at a project developer, consultancy, trader, wholesale market participant, and/or financial institution focused on renewable energy project development, long-term offtakes, and power purchase agreement

Experience deal-making in renewable energy and/or electricity markets

Strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and modeling skills

Ability to think on your feet and defend your positions and decisions

Degree in Finance, Business, Energy, Engineering, or related fields

Fluent in English, with additional languages being beneficial - based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY (preferable) or Houston, TX
