Responsibilities

Develop python code for electrical testing of advanced memory devices
Create and analyze large datasets
Conduct high-speed pulse testing of novel memory devices
Participates with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs
Applies/update standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks
Training and mentorship will be provided

Required

Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship
Bachelor's degree conferred prior to internship start date
Coursework related to semiconductor physics
C++, JavaScript, MATLAB, Xilinx ISE, Assembly language, AutoCAD, Python or related experience with programming/simulation
Familiarity or coursework related to semiconductor or microelectronics characterization: experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters, IC chips, microcontrollers, and circuits
Minimum GPA 3.0
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

Preferred

Experience in developing and delivering presentations
Experience testing resistive memory devices such as RRAM, ReRAM, or ECRAM
Experience performing RF or high-speed pulse testing on electronic components
Experience with semiconductor TCAD modeling
Electrical testing knowledge and experience
Experience working as part of a team on complex projects under tight schedules
