Senior Health Informatics Analyst

Responsibilities
Analyze health information systems to identify areas for improvement in workflows, data accuracy, and functionality. Implement solutions to streamline workflows and develop recommendations for system enhancements
Ensure that EHR systems, data workflows, and health applications function efficiently and meet organizational needs. Provide advanced support for EHR systems, resolving complex issues, and implementing best practices for EHR usage
Assist in integrating data from various sources into health information systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility. Maintain data integrity, quality, and security across systems
Work with the Director and other team members on health informatics projects. Contribute to project planning, system testing (including user acceptance testing or UAT), and deployment
Support compliance with health information regulations, including state and federal requirements. Document system changes, workflows, and procedures to maintain comprehensive records
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Information Systems or analogous IT related training
Analytical and critical-thinking skills
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Strong knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in health information systems and EHR applications
Advanced MSSQL skills
Knowledge of HL7
Sustain the manual dexterity required to operate standard office equipment
