Responsibilities
Provide real-time support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions, following a dedicated support model
Proactively monitor system health, identify potential problems, and implement preventative measures
Evaluate and optimize financial system processes and workflows for greater efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations in close collaboration with IT and other departments
Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and quality assurance
Manage the change management process, including creating and delivering training materials for end-users to support adoption of new features, system changes, and best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze business processes related to financial systems
Conduct data analysis to identify system gaps, errors, and opportunities for improvement
Develop tailored solutions that align with long-term financial strategies and company objectives
Serve as a subject matter expert and system champion, promoting adoption and maximizing technology investments
Work closely with the Finance team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and effective communication
Contribute to financial reporting and analysis requirements as needed
Maintain system security by managing access controls
Assist in defining, implementing, and enforcing data governance policies for financial systems
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Assist with the annual financial audit process and the collection and upkeep of supporting documentation
Qualification
Required
Requires 5-7 years of experience in a similar role and subject matter expertise
Bachelor's degree in relevant area, or other related field equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and data management
Relevant IT program management work experience
Must be self-managing, highly motivated and have a strong commitment to quality
Ability to comprehend and break down complex business concepts quickly
Able to take creative approaches to solving challenging problems in a collaborative setting
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong understanding of business processes and customer service issues
Ability to effectively manage simultaneous assignments with minimal supervision
Professional presentation skills
Preferred
Experience with Workday Adaptive, Dynamics 365 Sales, and other relevant financial systems (Ramp, ADP Workforce Now, DocuSign CLM a plus)
