Human Capital Management Analyst
The State of Ohio is seeking a Human Capital Management Analyst to join their human resources team at the Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility in Massillon, Ohio. The role involves performing recruitment activities, managing employee benefits, assisting with payroll processing, and advising on employee recognition and wellness programs.

Responsibilities
Perform recruitment activities; advertise vacancies; schedule interviews and participate in preliminary screening and/or interviews; enter personnel actions; research recruitment methods
Enrolls and advises employees regarding health benefits; manages off work benefit programs by advising, tracking, processing, and monitoring claims (i.e., Family Medical Leave Act, Adoption/Childbirth Leave, Occupational Injury Leave, etc.)
Attend and give presentations at orientation for new employees; coordinate pre-hire appointments
Assist with payroll processing as required; review payroll reports and make corrections as needed; enter off-work components and submit personnel actions for approval
Plan, track, monitor and advise regarding employee recognition or employee wellness programs; collect and manipulate data and analyze trends; plan workforce needs and implement strategic human resources initiatives and action plans
Serve on committees; complete employment verification forms and references; maintain personnel records for employees; maintain and order supplies
Qualification
Required
2 yrs. exp. in human resources
Completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration
1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Associate, 64611
Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
