Responsibilities

Have at least 3 years of hands-on SYNON development experience

Knows how to define entities and have a thorough understanding of the entity relationships in the SYNON model

Knows how to define DDS tables, DDL (SQL) tables, SQL views, logical files; have a good understanding of how the DB2 database engine works

Proficient in common SYNON function types for frontend and backend

Proficient in array processing

Proficient in commitment control

Working experience on Aldon/ACMS as the Change Control tool; alternatively, experience on other Change Control tool like Turnover and 2E CM are acceptable

Proficient on the iBMi platform - fluent in CL commands, table partitioning, access paths, optimization, journaling, interactive and batch debugging; can read and debug OPM COBOL code

PBM industry knowledge a plus

Hands on experience on modern code editor like VS Code and RDi a plus

Working experience using X-Analysis a plus

Real-time processing application experience a plus

Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, ReactS working knowledge a plus
