Payroll Advisory Consultant
Dayforce is a global human capital management company offering a unified solution for payroll processing. The Payroll Advisory Consultant serves as a primary consultant and subject matter expert for the Dayforce HCM Payroll module, focusing on delivering high-quality service and support to clients while ensuring compliance and efficiency in payroll operations.

Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day function of payroll processing for North American payroll
Monitor for and collaborate internally/externally to execute system changes as required
Offer and provide in-depth analysis and recommends solutions to business, payroll and system problems and initiatives
Utilize technical and analytical skills to provide support ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to Dayforce users and its customers
Triage inquiries and issues and categorize the solution path to completion in a timely manner
Engage internally with cross functional resources to solve problems
Use system analytics to increase productivity and accuracy
Continuously improve synchronization of data between Dayforce and 3rd party administrators
Responsible to provide and explain detailed system / reporting specifications to internal partners and customers
Test, train and implement new release or changed technical process or content to internal and external partners
Identify issues related to overall payroll, taking a global approach by recognizing issues and researching to see if other clients may be impacted
Understand and explain system features and benefits of the product line as it relates to customer needs
Process Improvements – participate as a SME in quality improvement projects; lead and support internal organizational change initiatives; recommend product enhancements that will benefit our clients or the managed support model
Maintain the highest level of client satisfaction through a detailed understanding of the client’s business needs and business practices. Know your customer
Have an “I own it” attitude about deliverables, meeting deadlines and completing projects start to finish
Document processes and operating procedures
Qualification
Required

Hours of work between 8am-8pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Understanding of payroll software solutions or business application software with the ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate with clients clearly and technically in both written and verbal communications
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure while working with clients and internal groups
An independent learner, intellectually curious and comfortable digging for information, to understand and resolve issues
Experience in the payroll outsourcing or consulting industry
Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly with a desire to continually learn
Experience as a systems analyst or business analyst
Preferred
Multinational payroll experience (US/CA) is an asset
CA Payroll certification an asset
Dayforce experience preferred
