The role involves a variety of responsibilities related to residential property maintenance, including handling requests from residents, performing repairs, and ensuring the upkeep of apartments and common areas.

Responsibilities

Handling daily work from existing residents and office staff

Turning over apartments for occupancy

Maintaining or replacing appliances, fixtures and switches

Working with contractors as necessary

Providing corrective maintenance

Providing preventive maintenance

Inspecting apartments, buildings and/or grounds as necessary

Replacing/maintaining smoke detectors, circuit breakers and outlets

Providing touch-up paint

Changing window screens and glass

Providing cosmetic repairs within apartments and common areas

Snow removal and trash removal

Qualified, motivated and experienced in maintenance

Ability to handle daily work from existing residents and office staff

Experience in turning over apartments for occupancy

Skills in maintaining or replacing appliances, fixtures and switches

Experience in providing preventive maintenance

Ability to inspect apartments, buildings and/or grounds as necessary

Skills in replacing/maintaining smoke detectors, circuit breakers and outlets

Experience in providing cosmetic repairs within apartments and common areas

Ability to perform snow removal and trash removal

Willingness to work forty hours a week with rotation of on-call emergencies after hours and weekends if necessary
