Responsibilities
Supports communications and storytelling for key programs, including the Wasted Food Stops With Us campaign and the 513 Green Certification. Responsibilities include researching topics, recording short videos, writing blog posts, and curating relevant resources to effectively share program messages
Assists with waste reduction education programs and field trips for school age children
Assists with special event outreach and promotion (e.g., set up displays, staff booths, create social media content)
Assists with the Trim Our Waste and Container Loan Programs (e.g., assisting staff with meetings, prepare recycling containers for pick up, drop off recycling containers)
Assist with the promotion of ReSource’s waste reduction grants and the review of grant proposals
Performs various administrative or support duties to support solid waste staff (e.g., data compilation, routine calculations, record updating, citizen inquiries, provide information to general public and organizations, etc.)
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance
Qualification
Required
Two years of completed undergraduate education
Must have valid driver's license issued by the state of residency
