The Cardio Device Technician will function as a subject matter expert for cardiac device patients, assisting with examinations and device settings under the supervision of electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities

Function as a subject matter expert and champion of patient care, under the supervision of our electrophysiologists, for our cardiac device patients by providing thorough pacemaker, AICD interrogation and reprogramming

Prepares patient for and assists with examinations

Makes changes to the settings of the device per physician direction

Recognizes abnormalities, malfunctions and End of Service indicators; notifies cardiologist and assists in scheduling patients for follow up or replacement as indicated
