Responsibilities

Own sales and account management for rigid packaging systems and solutions
Meet or exceed revenue, margin, product mix, and market share targets
Prospect and develop new customer accounts within the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of customer organizations, including executive, technical, and operational stakeholders
Develop and execute long-term, written account strategies and budgets aligned with corporate objectives
Communicate account strategies clearly to internal sales and service teams to ensure alignment and execution
Identify risks, resistance points, and growth barriers; proactively drive mitigation plans
Assess customer needs and translate them into value-driven technical and commercial solutions
Lead proposal development, including presentations, cost models, and commercial justifications
Coordinate with sales support and order management teams to successfully close and execute orders
Maintain strong awareness of competitor offerings, pricing, and activity within assigned accounts
Track all customer equipment purchases, including non-company equipment
Conduct market research to identify product, service, and competitive gaps
Provide regular feedback to Business Development and internal stakeholders to support product and solution development
Ensure internal sales and service teams supporting accounts are informed, aligned, and executing agreed strategies
Identify and escalate high-risk opportunities or critical service issues impacting customer satisfaction, payments, or future orders
Drive accountability and resolution in partnership with service and senior leadership teams
Communicate regularly with sales leadership on progress, challenges, and market developments
Host customers during site visits, trade shows, and business events
Represent the company professionally, reinforcing brand reputation and customer confidence

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
5+ years of experience in capital equipment, systems, or solution-based sales
Strong understanding of injection molding processes, customer end products, and end markets
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans
Excellent financial, commercial, and negotiation skills
Results-driven mindset with the ability to think and act strategically
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without authority
High level of maturity, accountability, and professionalism
Passion for continuous improvement and driving change
Strong communication, presentation, and executive-level engagement skills
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Cultural awareness and adaptability when working with diverse customers and teams
Strong understanding of customer business models and decision-making processes
