IT Technician

Responsibilities
Support Methodologies will include telephone and email support and visits to client companies, providing Level 1 support
Troubleshoot/resolve hardware and software performance and general PC, network and printer problems
Install, upgrade and support computer hardware and software
Perform voice/email system setup
Perform set-up for new users
Assist with IT projects as directed
Collaborate with customers and vendors as directed
Support all company policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with all contacts
Qualification
Required
Strong technical skills and knowledge/experience with IT protocols, software and hardware operations
Strong troubleshooting diagnostic skills and ability to perform root cause analysis of technical issues
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
Self-starter who takes initiative to resolve problems
Able to work with a team
Able to perform on-call work when necessary
Preferred
Microsoft Operating Systems (Server and Desktop)
VPN and remote access methodologies
Server and desktop hardware installation, configuration and support skills
SonicWall firewall and network security experience
PowerShell Scripting
Associates degree or commensurate experience preferred
