California Post is a brand-new digital-first news organization backed by the trusted legacy of the New York Post. They are seeking a results-driven Ad Sales Account Executive to drive new business and manage client relationships, contributing to revenue growth in a competitive marketplace.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth across digital advertising, sponsorships, and brand partnerships
Identify, prospect, and secure new clients within target verticals and geographies
Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and other key stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and editorial, to craft integrated advertising solutions
Manage the full sales cycle, including RFP responses, contract negotiations, and post-sale account management
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM data
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to advise clients effectively
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of ad sales experience, preferably within media or digital news organizations
Proven success in prospecting, closing deals, and exceeding revenue targets
Strong network of media and advertising contacts in Los Angeles and beyond
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup-like environment
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
