Responsibilities
Build and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Django, and modern web frameworks
Manage relational data modeling, indexing, and SQL optimization for PostgreSQL
Develop and maintain data ingestion workflows involving CSV parsing, validation logic, and downstream transformations
Implement file ingestion systems using SFTP, S3, background workers, and webhook-driven flows
Debug production failures by tracing logs across Django services, AWS Lambda functions, webhook handlers, and S3 flows
Support environment-specific workflows across staging and production deployments
Improve scalability, reliability, and performance across backend and data systems
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver stable, accurate, and timely features
Qualification
Required
Strong backend depth and production-grade experience in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL
Ability to develop data-heavy systems, manage ingestion pipelines, and troubleshoot distributed flows across multiple services
Accuracy, reliability, and ownership due to the complexity and sensitivity of client workloads
Strong understanding of data workflows, API-driven architecture, and cloud operations
Ability to build and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Django, and modern web frameworks
Manage relational data modeling, indexing, and SQL optimization for PostgreSQL
Develop and maintain data ingestion workflows involving CSV parsing, validation logic, and downstream transformations

Strong proficiency in Python and Django in production environments
Solid mastery of PostgreSQL including schema design, indexing, and query tuning
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ingestion systems
Familiarity with cloud tooling (AWS preferred) and distributed file storage workflows
Ability to debug multi-service interactions through logs and tracing
Experience with S3, SFTP, background jobs, or queue systems
Exposure to API design and modern full-stack patterns
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a U.S. remote environment
