They are seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to help scale the accounting function for FinTech related activity, collaborating cross-functionally with various departments and working with large data sets using advanced analytic tools.

Responsibilities
Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and reconciliations related to Revenue, AR, and Payable related accounts
Collaborate with other departments to support the business and needs of the Finance team, (specifically Engineering and FinTech Depts.)
Assist in the preparation of supporting documentation for statutory audits, quarterly reviews, and annual audits performed by external auditors
Working with large data sets that require power query and other advanced analytic tool
Support Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field (accounting, finance, economics etc.)
2+ years audit experience with public accounting firm
Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets (Xlookups, Pivot tables, Power Query, etc.)
Strong aptitude for identifying and implementing process improvements
Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Exceptional organization and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and keep track of multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
2+ years audit experience with public accounting firm or other relevant experience such as Big 4 Experience
Mix of Public/Private experience
NetSuite Experience
Basic proficiency with SQL
Experience in the FinTech industry and working with Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
