Responsibilities

Assist with Biohazardous waste disposal
Wash glassware
Unpack supply shipments
Prepare PCR reagents following strict guidelines
Instrument maintenance
Inspect eyewashes weekly
Other duties as assigned
Rotate filed paperwork and package for shredding
Photocopying, Scanning documents for electronic archiving, and shredding expired records

Required

Attendance and punctuality are critical components to be successful in this position
Availability to work 4-hour continuous blocks of time
Ability to work with secure data and maintain confidentiality
Computer skills will be necessary to complete the duties of the job
Ability to quickly learn and follow standard operating procedures in job duties
Possess excellent organization skills with great attention to detail
Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
Candidate should be available Monday – Friday with variable hours between 8am and 5pm, and available to work during the summer
