Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the quality assurance department, aligning quality initiatives with the company's mission and business objectives

Develop and execute quality strategies and continuous improvement plans

Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive quality control processes to meet or exceed project specifications and industry standards

Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance

Develop and deliver quality training programs for construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Work in conjunction with safety teams to ensure alignment of safety and quality initiatives

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and project records

Provide regular quality reports to senior management and stakeholders

Identify areas for quality improvement and lead corrective and preventive action plans

Collaborate with project teams to implement best practices and quality enhancements

Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing client concerns related to quality

Ensure exceptional client satisfaction with the quality of our projects

Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, including quality inspectors and analysts

Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field

Valid Certified Welding Inspector with active certification

10+ years of progressive experience in construction quality assurance, including leadership roles

Strong knowledge of construction quality control processes, safety protocols, and industry standards

Exceptional quality leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency in quality management software and tools

Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Preferred

Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus
