Design Workshop Inc. is an internationally recognized firm focused on landscape architecture and urban design. They seek licensed Landscape Architects with project management experience to provide planning and design services for various clients.

Responsibilities

Serve in a firm-wide leadership capacity pursuing and implementating legacy work through exceptional design, project documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management

Provide landscape architecture, planning and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients

Perform project manager or lead designer/planner role on projects of various scales

Support other project managers or designer/planners on large, complex projects

Required

5-7 years of demonstrated skill in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation experience

Project management and business development experience

Successful management of projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents

Proven experience producing drawings and specifications from the schematic stage through construction observation

Self-motivated with the desire and ability to lead others in the design and construction documentation/construction observation process

Passionate about engaging and retaining clients

Ready to mentor less-experienced staff and build a strong studio-based culture

An undergraduate and/or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program

Landscape Architecture Licensure

Preferred

Candidates with a master's degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design, architecture or planning are strongly encouraged to apply
