Developmental Disabilities Licensing Analyst (Compliance Specialist 2)
The Oregon Department of Human Services is dedicated to improving services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Developmental Disabilities Licensing Analyst will ensure compliance with relevant statutes and rules while monitoring and supporting provider agencies.

Responsibilities
Monitoring provider agencies and offering technical assistance to improve service quality and consistency
Conducting statewide reviews of provider competence and compliance with OARs, program policies, and federal requirements
Providing consultative guidance on administrative rules, policies, and operational best practices
Collaborating with internal and external teams, stakeholders, and providers to maintain statewide consistency
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration and one year of the specified experience
Four years of experience compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action or decide compliance with program guidelines and regulations. Two of the four years must have included making independent decisions based on the information gathered in the compilation and evaluation of the facts
Experience demonstrating a high level of attention to detail
Experience applying research and analytical skills to evaluate and interpret information
Experience reading, interpreting, and explaining laws, rules, and policies in a clear and understandable manner
Experience communicating effectively and cross-culturally in written, verbal, and virtual environments
Experience managing workload and meeting deadlines to process documents and information within prescribed timelines and in compliance with state laws
Experience using intermediate or higher-level Microsoft applications, including Excel, Teams, Word, and related software
Experience demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing work, managing multiple assignments simultaneously, and adapting to changing priorities
Experience working collaboratively as part of a team, providing constructive feedback, and working independently with minimal supervision
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
