Technical Services Manager

The Technical Services Manager - Ceilings provides expert technical guidance, ensuring proper selection, installation, and performance of products on construction projects while leading the Technical Services team in the Americas region.

Responsibilities

Lead and build the Technical Services team in the Americas region (AMER)
This position will also work with counterparts in the EMEA and APAC regions to utilize resources to support our global customers, provide training, and troubleshooting technical issues
This role will require a subject matter expert in our ceiling systems, including their correct application, relevant code requirements, and proper installation methods
Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy
Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands
Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System
Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service

Required

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Building Construction, Engineering, or a relevant field
Strong technical and communication skills
8+ years of experience in the construction products or manufacturing industry
Demonstrated 8+ year history of ceiling construction and on-site experience
Strong understanding of construction product specifications, construction documents, and detailed drawings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience in managing at least one direct report
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in technical documentation and report writing
Dedication to safety and compliance
Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%, and internationally one to two times per year
Willingness to be on-site at the office or plant two to three times per week
