Responsibilities
Serve as the Hospitality Ambassador and first/last impression of the resort
Assist guests with luggage handling, including lifting and loading/unloading onto carts and vehicles
Engage with guests by 'Talking Story,' sharing island history, activity recommendations, and cultural insights
Provide personalized guest service, addressing questions, requests, suggestions, and concerns professionally
Assist with reservations for activities, dining, and special events
Escort guests around the resort as needed
Perform all check-out procedures upon guest departure
Maintain and manage an assigned cash float, following all resort policies
Respond to guest emails and chat inquiries promptly and professionally
Collaborate with third parties to help build guest itineraries
Assist with driving guests as needed in rare, extraordinary circumstances
And other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
Weekend and Holiday availability required
Warm, welcoming demeanor and a positive, guest-centric attitude
Preferred
Knowledge of local Lāna‘i culture, geography, and activities is a plus
1–2 years of prior experience in front desk, concierge, or guest service roles preferred
