The Storage Associate is responsible for organizing, handling, and maintaining inventory within a warehouse storage facility, ensuring wine inventory is stored accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Perform daily data entry for new items received into the warehouse
Accurately enter wine names, designations, producers, vintage, and formats in to proprietary software
Receive, scan and properly store wine in designated areas
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for consignment or shipping with care and accuracy
Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation
Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks or forklifts
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area
Report any damaged or compromised products immediately
Performs other related duties as requested
Qualification
Required
Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
Moderate computer skills, including familiarity with inventory software and data entry
Forklift operator certification and use of stand up fork required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach
Stand or walk for long periods of time
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
WSET or other wine education with aspirations to learn more a plus
