Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns
Interact professionally with the public and staff, offering assistance and information as needed
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines while performing duties at the government location
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
