Responsibilities
Performing accounting and audit support work for the Severance Tax program
Work collaboratively with ONRR, coworkers, Tribal staff, and the public in a professional and efficient manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related area
Ten years accounting/auditing experience is required
Experience acting as a team lead with demonstrated experience in mentoring and employee development
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Teams
Proficient and have demonstrable skills in Excel, including pivot tables, filtering, mastering shortcuts, and formulas
Knowledge of industry practices related to the reporting and disbursement of royalties
Ability to use judgment in setting priorities to complete assignments and deal with competing demands, while meeting monthly deadlines and goals
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle large volumes of work and multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to follow directions, understand and carry out written and oral instructions
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
Strong communication skills to answer questions with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
Must be bondable
Must successfully pass the federal background investigation required under the Tribe's Cooperative Agreement with the Office of Natural Resources Revenue
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a criminal history background investigation
Must have a valid Driver's License for state of residency and be insurable under the Growth Fund vehicle insurance policy
