Currency Management, Product and Client Change Manager - AVP

Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for clients during special events and transitions
Effectively communicate currency overlay and trading concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of special events and transitions, including fund launches, mandate changes, and large-scale currency overlay adjustments
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports
Utilize your technical skills to automate processes using Python & SQL, and contribute to the development of custom tools and reports to support special events and transitions
Work closely with internal teams, including portfolio management, trading, operations, technology, and legal, to ensure all aspects of special events and transitions are executed seamlessly
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with special events and transitions, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, industry best practices and internal policies
Maintain a strong control environment throughout the lifecycle of each project
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies related to special events and transitions
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the Currency Management team
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in financial services, Foreign Exchange or a related field, with a focus on project management, transitions, or special events
Experience working in a client-facing role is highly preferred
Proficiency in SQL and basic Python programming
Experience with data analysis, automation, and report generation is essential
Deep understanding of risk management principles, particularly in the context of financial services and currency management
Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively
Understanding of fund accounting /custody/ transfer agency operations
Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically under pressure
Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, driving projects to successful completion while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction
Attention to detail and time management are a must
Ability to work under pressure
Motivated and self-starter
Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP) are a plus
