Unit Head/Deputy Attorney General-Defensive Litigation Unit *Repost* Civil Division - New Castle County (Open to Int/Ext Candidates)
The State of Delaware's Attorney General's office is seeking a Deputy Attorney General to serve as Unit Head in the Civil Division's Defensive Litigation Unit. This role involves defending the State and its agencies in civil litigation, managing a team of attorneys, and handling a personal caseload focused on civil rights and employment law.

Responsibilities
The Unit Head will carry his/her own caseload of defensive litigation cases and direct and manage other Deputy Attorneys General and the Assistant Unit Head; coordinate assignments for all Unit members; cooperate with other Unit Heads; carry out the direction and delegation of upper management; and perform other managerial tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Membership in Delaware Bar required
The Unit Head must be able to effectively handle civil litigation
Develop a good working relationship with other Deputy Attorneys General, support staff, and clients
Must have the ability and determination to learn new areas of the law in order to guide and support the Deputy Attorneys General in this Unit
